Senior Planet Programs as of Nov 1, 2025
87 Lectures
One-off lectures introduce popular tech topics and themes in a clear and concise manner. Individual lectures aim
to explain the general purpose of a device or concept, its usefulness and important tips and tricks. Lectures do not
offer hands-on exposure to the presented topic, but many of them can be scheduled in conjunction with a related
interactive workshop that offers hands-on experience with the website or online platform discussed in the lecture.
Lectures are typically 60-75 minutes and participant numbers are uncapped.

53 Workshops
Our series of interactive workshops are designed to give participants the chance to practice using a website
or app. Although they can be scheduled on their own, many workshops cover material that has already been
introduced in a lecture. Workshops are led by a trainer and offer hands-on activities. To participate in workshops,
participants should be comfortable navigating the Internet. Workshops last 75-90 minutes and are capped at 8-10
participants. Workshop participants will use a classroom device that is provided by the licensed partner.

workshops, courses are multi-week commitments and participants are registering for the entire series. Class
sessions involve a combination of discussion of new topics and hands-on, practical application of technology
skills. OATS provides a detailed, printed course book for each participant to keep after the end of the course.
Courses meet twice a week for either 5 or 10 weeks, and each session lasts 75 minutes. Courses are capped at 10-14
participants.
